What we teach

The School follows the Swedish curriculum with students taking the Swedish National tests in years 3, 5 and 9 in the core subjects Swedish, English and Maths. Many lessons in the school are held with two teachers or more, so whilst our classes have thirty students, the pupil-teacher ratio is in fact much less than this. In addition to Swedish, English and Math, we teach art, music, French, German, textiles, home economics, woodwork, physics, biology, technology and chemistry. We also teach sports, geography, history, religion and social studies. Younger classes follow topics relating to science, religion, history or geography. The younger classes have extra adults in the form of teaching assistants.
