Social Media Talks
As a school community, we feel we are getting better at cooperating to protect the children from dangers in social media and on the internet. We recently had a speaker from Nexpo Utbildning, Niclas Ottosson, visit the school. He held lectures for students in Year 4-9, and we had one where all parents were invited to join.
Previously in our efforts of communicating healthy habits to our families, we have focused on the importance of diet, sleep, and exercise. These talks focused more on what online harassment can look like, and the possible legal consequences of social media use.
