They developed a model using computer aided design and created a pitch film to support their model. Eight groups from ESG became finalists and were rewarded with day passes for Universeum!
Year 6 got to have a practical lesson at Botaniska trädgården, in their facility called “Lilla Spannmålsverkstan”. They made their own flour from grains and baked bread and made straw figures. They even got to eat the bread!
Year 3 recently had an organ making workshop. The visiting teacher did two sessions, one for each classroom. The children worked in groups to put together different parts of the organ, then they all worked together to put the whole mini organ together and afterwards they each got a chance to play it as well. The classes had a great time!
We always like to celebrate our students’ interesting achievements, even when it is activities they’ve taken part in outside school. Also, congratulations to Advait Year 7 who has represented Sweden in Malayalam poetry recitation recently.
A big congratulations on a remarkable feat performed by the father and son team of Ellis in Year 6 and his dad Gillis. Earlier in the year, they set a new Swedish tandem paragliding record* starting from Falköping, they flew an incredible 30,8 kilometres. We think this record will take some beating!
